Armenia is among the three top export destinations of Georgia after Azerbaijan and Russia, according to the data of first nine months of the ongoing years by Georgia’s national statistical service.
Georgia’s exports to Armenia amounted to $199.2 million for the period of January-September 2018.
According to the source, Georgian exports to Armenia include copper Ore and various fertilizers which amount for 15.3% of the total export volumes with recorded increase 20.3% to compare with the data of the previous year. Vehicles constitute 11.4% of the total export with recorded 87.1% grown against the data of the previous year.
To remind, during the recent meeting of the Armenian and Georgian prime ministers in September in Yerevan, PM Pashinyan said the Georgian PM has proposed “an ambitious plan” that may potentially grow the bilateral trade to one billion USD.
